We’ll plan activities that your loved one enjoys, focusing on which brings the most mental stimulation. Research has shown that puzzles, board games, music, and similar activities exercise the brain and help slow down the progression of cognitive impairment conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. Our time with your loved one will also help stave off mental health issues that stem from loneliness, improving the person’s overall quality of life.

When weather and mobility permit, we’ll accompany your special person outside for fresh air and light exercise. Our caregivers will walk with your loved one to any favorite local destination, such as a café, shop, senior center, or park. Companion care also includes efficient transportation services. Our caregivers are fully licensed and insured with well-maintained vehicles to safely accompany your loved one on errands such as grocery shopping, medical appointments, and social events. Our companion care services provide the perfect gateway to personal care, especially if your loved one has been resisting the idea of additional support. Always Family caregivers can help with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, hygiene care, and much more.
